what can i say about reggies fest. i f*cking love this bar as much as a man can love a place. i will happily drive 20 mins into town just to slam some drinks, talk sh*t with the boys, shoot a game of pool, hear some sh*tty/good music, or get embarrassingly drunk and not be embarrassed about it. reggies fest was everything i love about this place rolled into a weekend. good bands, good people, good times, hot dogs on the grill. matt, chuck, and rich many thank you's for all the good times.

more shows and more shows. everybody has been playing a lot recently. weekends have been rocking. last weekend thunderlip, asg and a handful of other local bands played the brooklyn arts center. another shining example of the multitude of talent this small town has to offer. the show was well attended. drinks cheap. tunes loud and the venue is cool as hell. big old church with vaulted ceilings and stain glass windows. good times.

for such a small town. wilmington is filled with talent. tons of good, local, national and international touring acts are lucky enough to call this little alcoholics haven home. among these is my personal favorite, thunderlip, who have been playing on again off again for several years now. last friday they were on again. as usual, a ton of fun. love these dudes. love this town.

caught another show last night at reggie's 42nd street tavern. tons of good company and good tunes from dj ghost tracks, the blacks, the beggars, colossus, and thunderlip. woke up this morning, ears ringing, voice fleeting, kidneys crying, feeling aged. think time passes like dog years in this place. heaven on earth. but with debauchery. and cheap booze. thanks fellows. had a blast.

best old years eve.r.

didn't get a chance to make any new years posting. so here it is.

its only been a few days but can't help but to have a good feeling about 2011. rang the new year in with some bitchin' good tunes from friends in white tiger and a bed of roses and thunderlip. highlights included matt shredding so hard he bled all over his guitar and chuck getting electricuted by his xmas light stage outfit. friend eric at posterhound family workshop pointed out how lucky we were to have such a talented group of friends and i couldn't help but to agree whole heartedly. i have been blessed with an amazing group of friends and for that i am most thankful.

so here is 2011. i look forward to spending it with you all.
